Don Chastain has worked in the field of accounting for more than 46 years. He has been a part of Machen McChesney since 1983.  Don specializes in tax, estate & trust, accounting, and advisory services for clients. His industries of expertise include manufacturing, healthcare, real estate and development, professional and retail services, restaurants, and nonprofit organizations. In addition to the firm’s management, Don is actively involved with core process, recruiting, mentoring, and financial services at Machen McChesney, all part of his focus on Returning Value to the firm’s clients and employees.

Don and his wife reside in Auburn where they enjoy spending time with their family. He also enjoys Auburn University athletics and his grandchildren.
