Amber Saxon has been with Machen McChesney since April 2018 as a Senior Payroll Specialist with FocusPay Solutions. In her role, she manages end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Amber oversees the preparation and filing of quarterly and year-end payroll tax reports, coordinates tax deposits, and ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
She helps coordinate daily workflow, mentors and cross-trains team members, and contributes to the planning and implementing payroll software upgrades and training initiatives. Helping to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Machen McChesney, Amber spent eight years with a local staffing agency, where she held progressive roles in staffing, office management, and payroll administration. This experience broadened her expertise in human resources, including recruiting, onboarding, HR policy development, unemployment claims, and labor law compliance.
Amber resides in Hurtsboro, Alabama, with her husband, Matthew, and children, Michaela and Asa.
